Workspace defaults
In Workspace Settings, you can customise a variety of default settings to suit your organisation. Fluent will use your default settings when answering and displaying data. Here's a quick link.
Question refresh interval
The question refresh interval settings determines how often Fluent will query your database to show the latest data on your cards.
Whenever you load a canvas, this setting will decide whether we should rerun the question to load fresh data.
By default, refresh interval is set to hourly. This means that when you enter a canvas, we will determine how stale the data is by checking when the query was last ran. If the data was last fetched more than an hour ago, we will rerun the query to fetch the most up-to-date data.
Display currency
This setting determines the default currency Fluent will display money type data in. You can always customise this on a per-answer basis through the data table.
Fluent does not have information on currency exchange rates. This setting will not convert your data from one currency to another. It only specifies how the data is displayed.
Workspace timezone
Your workspace’s local timezone is used to understand phrases such as “yesterday”. If the data in your database is stored in a different timezone to your workspace timezone, Fluent will convert your data and display it in your workspace timezone.
Date format
This setting determines how we display date data. You can always customise this on a per-answer basis through the data table.
Financial year start day
Use this setting to specify when your organisation's financial year starts. Fluent will use this information when answering questions about financial years or quarters.
By default, this is set to January 1st.
