Follow up questions

Dig into the insights of any answer card and continue the thread with follow up questions.

From the canvas

From any canvas, click on your answer card and click Interact. From here, you can ask a follow up question by typing in the input box. You can also select a suggested question or view your existing conversation history with Fluent.

From an expanded card

Double click on your answer card to expand the card. The left section shows your existing conversation history with Fluent. You can ask a follow up question by typing in the input box, select a suggested question or view your existing conversation history with Fluent.

A checkpoint will generate whenever you ask a new question and Fluent generates an answer. In the conversation history, you can select any checkpoint to see that answer.

Each checkpoint can be pinned as a new card on your canvas or hidden from the conversation history.

Card stacks

Asking a follow up question will continue the conversation in the same thread. A new card will generate on top of your existing card in a stack. Hover over the top of a stack and the cards will expand like an accordion.

You can temporarily preview the previous answer cards by slowly moving your mouse over the top of the stacks – as if you're filing through a file cabinet.

You can also click on a particular card and click the Pin icon to place it down on your canvas.
